Here are the digital versions of the files from the presenters at this year's conference.

CMEA adjudication forms are now available from this site in Adobe Acrobat pdf files. When you click on the form, it will automatically open through your web browser if you have the plug-in or download onto your computer. The files can be read and printed on Mac OS and Windows computers through a free application called Adobe Acrobat Reader. This comes bundled with many software applications already, or you can download it from the Adobe web site. You can download copies of the approved festival adjudication forms and the judges' rubric for performance standards on stage and in sightreading.

CMEA Bay Section annually presents awards to outstanding educators in our region who have been nominated by their peers and confirmed by the Executive Board. The awards, which are presented at the Winter Conference luncheon in January, are: the Outstanding Music Educator Award, which is also presented at the CMEA State Conference Banquet in March, the Gilbert Freitas Awards for emerging and veteran instrumental music educators, sponsored by the Best Music Instrument Repair Company, Oakland. The Outstanding Choral Music Educator award, sponsored by J.W. Pepper of San Francisco, and The Outstanding Classroom/General Music Educator award, sponsored by the Scott Foresman - Silver Burdett company

CMEA Bay Section Winter Conference Jazz Ensemble (CJE) It is the hope of the CMEA Bay Section Board that this ensemble will highlight some of the best high school jazz musicians Bay Section has to offer and feature them in a concert at our annual Winter Conference held at San Jose State University on January 13-14, 2012. This year’s guest director will be trombonist John Maltester from St. Mary’s College. Recordings must be received by me on or before November 4, 2011
