Am I Doing it Right? Examining Assessment and Grading Models in the Ensemble Classroom

Synopsis: The ensemble classroom poses many challenges to assessing students meaningfully and reflecting those assessments in a grade. Like them or not, we all have to grade our students, and do the best we can to do so effectively and efficiently. However, as a result, every teacher and program has a different approach. This session will engage in a roundtable discussion sharing current practices from experienced teachers around Bay Section with the hope of identifying similarities while also getting new ideas through our differences.
