Synopsis: What are your goals for teaching the first day of violin and viola class? There many ways to be great string teachers but Pellegrino will share her goals and demonstrate a way that works for her and her students, including teaching rest and playing position, a simple bow hold, playing with the bow, putting your fingers on the fingerboard, and even teaching a tune on the first day. Bring an instrument if you can!
