This session is open to anyone that wants to participate! Just bring your instrument – all instrumentalists welcome! All materials provided. In this clinic, you will · Learn more about this important historic American composer of color · Receive materials to add him to your program’s curriculum · Familiarize yourself with his music through reading of new arrangements for modern ensembles of some of his lost works. Come to just learn and listen, or bring your instrument to read his music as a group! Arrangements are suitable for High School and advanced Middle School band and string programs, as well as collegiate and professional chamber and large ensembles.
