Upcoming Solo & Ensemble Festivals
Solo & Ensemble Festival Registration is now open!
NEW FOR 2027! Please note that you no longer need to provide a final list of students for your entries at time of registration. After you complete registration, you’ll receive an email with a secure link that will allow you to add, update, or remove students from your entries at any time up to the final cut-off dates listed below.
To register for one of the festivals below, you will need the following:
- Your NAfME ID
- Name of student, their grade and instrument
- If it is a group entry you will need the name of all members
Once you register you should receive a confirmation email. You will also be contacted by the Site Host who will gather a few more details about your entry. (If there is an accompanist, any time restrictions etc). Directors are responsible for communicating the site host instructions to their students. For more information, please review the Solo and Ensemble Rules and Procedures (Bay Section Handbook) (pg. 12-15)

Solo and Ensemble Festival at Acalanes High School
Saturday, February 27th, 2027
Registration will close on January 25, 2027 with payments and final updates to your entries due February 8, 2027. You will receive a schedule from the site host one month before the festival.

Solo and Ensemble Festival at San Jose State University
Saturday, March 6th, 2027
Registration will close on February 1, 2027 with payments and final updates to your entries due February 16, 2027. You will receive a schedule from the site host one month before the festival.
