As music educators continue working to create inclusive classrooms that reflect the diverse needs of all students, identifying effective accommodations and modifications can feel challenging. This session will explore practical strategies for supporting students with extensive support needs, including physical, motor, and learning disabilities, in the beginning strings classroom. Participants will discover ways to adapt instruction, incorporate meaningful accommodations, and integrate inclusive teaching practices into commonly used string method books. Designed for both experienced string educators and teachers new to strings, this session will offer practical tools to help make beginning strings instruction accessible, engaging, and meaningful for every student.
