Developing Your Students’ Creativity in the Band Rehearsal

Creativity is a key component to developing comprehensive musicians. However, it can be a challenge to provide students the opportunity to think beyond the technical elements of the music. In this session, Dr. Davis will present some ways to cultivate an environment of curiosity, self-expression, connected engagement, and deeper musical understanding in the band classroom.
