Developing Jazz Band Rhythm Sections

This session presents an all star rhythm section demonstrating the specific roles of the section in supporting a jazz ensemble. These veterans (Ray Charles, Maynard Fergeson, Theatreworks, Kenny Loggins The Moody Blues, Toshiko Akiyoshi, and James Moody,) will cover important topics including comping, time, styles, dynamics and skill development.
