Understanding the Adjudication Process at Festival (Instrumental)

El Cerrito High School Symphonic Band – Keith Johnson, Director
Attendees will get to observe and participate in the adjudication of a Band. There will be a panel of judges, but attendees will also be using the score sheets and rubric to assess what they hear. After the performance one of the panelists will give the ensemble a mini clinic and then the judges will reveal their scores and share their comments, and explain how they used the rubric to determine their scores. After the shareout, attendees will be able to ask questions about the ratings and how the rubric was implemented to come up with the final score.
