In addition to her academic pursuits, Cindy has been an active freelance performer, touring musician, and recording artist with over 35 years of experience.She is currently the Director of Instrumental Studies and the Coordinator of the Music Business Certificate at Los Positos College where she also directs the Jazz Ensemble, teaches Music Theory, American Cultures in Jazz and History of Rock & Roll. Cindy will bring her expertise to a session covering bass pedagogy and performance techniques specific to the jazz ensemble.
