What is a JEDI mindset? It’s a constant forefront focus on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in all of your teaching (lesson planning, concert planning, teaching). However, we need to acknowledge we cannot have DEI without Justice first. Come to this interactive, exciting general music workshop (50 min) on JEDI focused techniques that can be integrated into your music lesson plans, teaching, reflections, concerts (informances). We will share about how to advocate for your valuable music program and share your JEDI mindset to your stakeholders (administration, parents, and students) community.
